First, some food for thought before we set up your meeting

#1 Type of Site:

Choose what kind of site you will have, be that a personal site,
small business site or a non profit site.

Do you want a simple site or a very elaborate one?

#2 New or Existing:

Will this be a new site or will you be revamping or moving an already established site?
Do you have a business identity or will you need one designed?

Hint:

If you are moving or revamping an already established site Web Studio Productions will need to see some form of ownership of the site to confirm the rights to move and or alter its content.

#3 Site Purpose:

In your head clearly define the purpose of your site.
What do you want the site to be about or to do?
What will it's main function be?
What type of audience do you want to attract?

This will help you when it comes time to think up content for your site.

#4 Budget:

Our service price listing is based on an amount/per hour system. We do this so our clients have full control over just how much they spend on their project. We understand that every company has a budget and we will work with you to help work within your budget.

At this time we do not offer "package" deals or bulk service pricing.

Hint:

An example of a web site with four simple pages, html coded would run around $200

#5 Color Scheme:

This may not seem crucial but it's important to think ahead and have a good idea in your head or on paper as to what colors you want your site to have.

Try to think of background colors, links and button colors for example.

Is there a particular theme that you may want to use?

Hint:

Take some paper and wright down a color scheme, then save it for later use.

#6 Content:

Having a ruff idea of what and how you want your site to be displayed is a great help.

The best source of content for your site is you. We can help you brainstorm ideas and refine the content you have.

#7 Layout:

The layout of a site is importing. It can mean the difference between a non-friendly user site and something your users just wont want to leave.

You can rely on us to help steer you away from a user nightmare.

Hint:

Take a pad of paper and sketch down any ideas you may have. From these sketches we will have a better idea of how you want your site to look. If you don't feel up to the task don't worry, we will work with you to design the perfect site for you.

Meetings:

Web Studio Productions will need to conduct 1 pre-contract meeting and then 1 contract signing meeting.

What do you mean by "pre-contract meeting"

A:

Web Studio Productions will need to meet with you to discuss some of the points mentioned above. This meeting will allow Web Studio Productions to gather information about what kind of site your looking to have built or modified, what kind of budget you may be working with, if you have an special needs or considerations and it will give us a chance for both you and Web Studio Productions to get to know each other. We take pride in getting to know our clients face to face, business to business. At this first meeting we will also provide you with a print out of our current services price list.

What do you mean by "contract signing meeting"

A:

Exactly what it sounds like. Web Studio Productions will draw up a contract that states exactly what services your are hiring Web Studio Productions for, it will out-line how payment will handled and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have at that point regarding your site or any other service we offer.

Q:

Where will these meetings take place?

A:

Meetings will be held at our local offices at 33 Boston Post Road West, Marlborough, MA 01752. Directions to our offices will be provided once we can confirm the time and date you have requested.

Do I have to pay to meet with you?

A:

Our first two meetings, the "pre-contract meeting" and "contract signing meeting" are 100% FREE. Even if you decide not to use our services.

Hosting:

Web Studio Productions has services that we recommend for hosting and we will provide you with in-depth hosting knowledge. We will also help you chose the best hosting service for your site by recommending the best service that meets your sites needs.

New Site Domain Registering Issues:

If you have not yet registered the domain you want and do not know who you will be hosting your site with please do not register your domain with anyone until we have helped you chose a hosting provider. Registering your domain with a service provider you do intend to host with can cause undesirable issues and although we can move registers it is expensive and time consuming.

If you have already registered your domain name with a service we will help you move it to your hosting hosting provider.

If you have a pre existing site and are not moving hosting providers please disregard the above statements.

Last Step:

Setting up your meeting. Please keep in mind that we will require seven (7) calendar days in order to confirm and lock in the time slot for one of our two conference rooms. Times are offered starting at 8:30am and end at 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. Most meetings will last about 2 hours.
